Four priorities for a first character

Progression, skills, equipment and dungeon preparation — with a direct link to each detailed guide.

01

Main progression and travel

Use the Episode quest as your route; check prerequisites when progress stops.

Include travel points and nearby growth content in that route. Compare the reward before making a long detour.

Identify the blocked requirement before spending more time grinding.

Check locations on the map →
02

Skill investment priorities

Start with your class’s core skills and their conditions, then decide where points go.

The class build guide covers early priorities, passive effects and Stigma choices. Allocated points and total skill level are separate checks.

A rotation makes more sense when its trigger conditions, range and cooldowns are clear.

Class skills and investment order →
03

Equipment and enhancement

Compare the same equipment slot and the options that help your current goal.

Separate entry requirements from survival, accuracy and damage. Identify the problem an upgrade is meant to solve before spending materials.

A higher equipment score alone does not explain whether its options suit your build.

Equipment stats and upgrade decisions →
04

Preparing for a first dungeon

Match the difficulty and party expectations, then review the mechanics that can end a run.

A useful boss guide answers three questions: what is the cue, where do I move, and what is my role?

A power figure in a recruitment post is that party’s condition, not a universal recommendation.

Distinctions that affect your build

Character level / skill level
Character progression and the level of an individual skill are different. Each skill has its own requirements and costs.
Item level / useful options
Equipment level, equip requirements and useful options answer different questions. Compare the same slot and purpose.
Stigma / Arcana
Stigma belongs to skill setup. Arcana is equipment, not a skill in a rotation.

Useful settings and where to find them

The setting, its purpose and the original screenshot are shown together. Menu paths follow the linked KR captures.

01

Find the boss’s back

MENUSettings → Information → Combat → Boss direction marker: BACK

The BACK marker makes the rear direction easier to read. It is a position reference, not a guarantee that the area is safe.

02

See when a message arrived

MENUChat settings → Timestamp: ON

Timestamps provide context for party instructions and recruitment messages, especially when several messages arrive together.

Check automatic consumables

MENUSettings → Combat → Auto Use

Potion HP thresholds and combat-only buff use are separate settings. Adjust them to the consumable and situation rather than copying the screenshot’s percentage.

04

Review before extracting

MENUInventory → Extraction → Selection settings

Review what the selection rules include before extraction. Keep automatic extraction off until the criteria match the equipment you intend to discard.

Reading party shorthand

200k
200,000 combat power. A sample recruitment condition, not a universal recommended threshold.
3b
Clear all three bosses in the party run. Confirm the dungeon and route before joining.
tp
Teleport shorthand. Confirm whether the required travel point is ready.

Prices, fees, reset schedules and entry requirements vary by region and patch. Check the current game screen for your server.
